Our Goal
The Pagosa Area Builders Advisory Committee (PABAC) was to
bridge the connection between local government and the building community in order to:
- Form a cohesive building environment with similar rules and codes.
- Become the voice for our local building community and related trades.
- Offer expertise to help move our community forward through economic development, education and growth.
Pagosa Area Builders Advisory Committee (PABAC)
The PABAC is made up of community professionals and leaders whose goal it is to improve the building trades industry by providing advice and assistance to the local governments and serve as a board of appeals for both town and county building departments.
Committee volunteers provide expertise in all trades and walks of life. The group consists of teachers, designers, sales associates, managers, entrepreneurs, engineers, architects, tradesmen and general contractors — all with the future of the Pagosa community at the heart of their efforts.
